In 1990, Reed started his teaching career and during that time he worked with a small youth group with 5 kids. The following year, God blessed that ministry and grew it to 35. It was at this time that Reed knew God was calling him to shepherd rather than just instruct. He then began his ministry career at Calvary shortly thereafter.
He and his wife, Nora, who serves in the Children's Department, have been serving Calvary for 24 years in total. Together they have 4 adult children, 4 grandchildren and one on the way.
In addition to ministry, they enjoy fellowship around table games and hiking whenever possible to explore God's creation and recharge.

Emenim has grown up at Calvary. He began his ministry career as a drummer on our worship band. During his college years, he really sensed the Lord calling him to full time service and functioned as our Youth Intern during a time of transition. He also continued playing on the worship band and moved up front to guitar.
Once he finished his schooling, the church was impressed with his talents and invited him to come on staff as our Youth/Worship Coordinator. He has completed his first year on staff at the church he has called home.
Emenim comes from a home with 3 younger brothers and says his parents were champs for raising them all.
In his spare time, Emenim enjoys all aspects of music---playing, listening or letting it minister to his own soul. He also enjoys working out, hanging with his friends or just watching a good movie.
Melody has been attending Calvary most of her life. Her parents started attending when she was in First Grade and the tradition continues with her own family. She and her husband, Gerry have 3 adult children.
Melody has served in various roles throughout her time at Calvary from Children's to Adult Ministry for the past 30+ years as a volunteer. She officially came on staff 2 years ago as Administrative Assistant to our Pastor and various Ministry Coordinators. She is still very active serving on our Worship Team, singing background vocals or playing the piano. She is also a part of our all-female singing group, Ladies' Prayz.
In her spare time, she likes to quilt, read, garden, watch movies and go on trips.
