What to Expect
We meet on Sunday nights from 6 - 8 pm.
Calvary is a church known for its diverse culture and one particular culture is Calvary's youth. The youth at Calvary are split into groups Calvary calls "Ignite" and "Dash". Ignite is for students in grades 6-8. Dash is for students in grades 9-12.
No matter what grade a student is in, Calvary has a fantastic youth ministry that parents and students will love! There are many things parents and students can expect when investing into Calvary's youth.
At Calvary, our desire is to have growth in our youth. Not only in numbers, but more importantly, in their own spiritual journeys because numbers do not matter if lives are not being touched and transformed.
In order to grow, there has to be a community. Calvary's youth cultivates a community where every student that walks through our doors is welcomed and has an opportunity to be involved in growing God's Kingdom.
As there is growth and community inside our youth, there is discipleship. The youth that attend Calvary is the future of Calvary. With that being said, our youth has an amazing team of leaders that use God's words "for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness so that the men and women of God may be complete, equipped for every good work"2nd Timothy 3:16-17.
Each student that is plugged into Calvary's Youth will be plugged into a life group. Life group are a better version of small groups because in life groups, students will journey life together throughout the school year and not just for a month or less. The purpose of life groups is for students to challenge each other in their growth for Christ and to lift each other up in hard times.
